  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American artist and rapper. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, as well as a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The project was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. After his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to release three singles at number 1 in less that an entire year, in the year 2020.
